Delay Zoning Locations for Valdez Marijuana Store

I do not see the need for Valdez to rush into this decision. Every resident has the right to have their questions answered. Please delay this decision until answers can be provided.

Valdez does not have to permit commercial level of marijuana in town.

We should be fully aware of the consequences of this law. Let's take the time to do the research. This community won't regret the delay in implementation?

The city is opening their doors to alot of law suits, if they allow marijuana's to be sold in Valdez! Be smart about this decision!!

There still seems to be inconsistent - lacking information regarding permitting of marijuana in Valdez. I agree that it is critical to address each of the questions of the community before moving forward.

Delay the marihuana zoning desicion until questions are properly addressed and a detailed analysis of the social and economic impact is completed.

This is a very very important matter that needs to be thought through as thoroughly as possible before jumping into something that is "popular" but not necessarily the right choice for our town.

I don't care if people want to smoke this, but I don't want a dispensary allowing EASIER access to it right in the middle of town. My kids, your kids, all of them. Do Not need this.

No drugs at all. Our grandchildren will not be proud to call this place their home. When a parent loses a child at 12 years old to drugs nothing is ever the same. It starts off MJ then leads to heavier drugs. Do not destroy our children and the town. There are better ways in making revenue. Tourism? Imagine a visitor who endangers themselves on a tour whilst under the influence of MJ? Do we really need lawsuits and our businesses shut down. Stop drugs altogether from taking away our way of life, our businesses and our image.

For small town that has a increasingly high drug and alcohol problems, we need to avoid letting substances easier to get.

I am against this coming to town.

I don't want this town to start selling drugs. This is a beautiful town and selling marihuana it's a bad thing for the community

I do not believe that this is an industry that we should rush.

I agree that there needs to be more discussions about location. The kids in our town will always see that building as the ice cream shop. When/ if the OPEN sign turns on for this building to be used it needs to be WELL marked. I would hate for children to enter thinking the ice cream shop is back. Tough topic for all.

I respect all people but in my heart I believe a delay in the decision is the best and most prudent decision.
