I did have a busted water line somewhere in those 3 months (Dec/Jan/Feb 2018-19) where they state they base the average for the rest of the year. Because I had a busted line my payment went from the mid nineties to almost 200 currently. I was fine with paying almost 600 dollar bills when it was a plumbing issue that led to an obvious overage. However, I believe it to be unfair to be penalized an entire year after the fact for something that was out of my control. What are water meter readers for if I’m going to be paying an average based on consumption from only three months out of the year. Some speculate we are being overcharged to cover the cost of the ransomware breach. It could have been an error at the water department where excessive water pressure caused so many burst lines all at once. Could it have been deliberate. When people are forced to pay or owe 2 to 5 times the usual amount but expected to just accept it without explanation Is not correct in any way.

I had To pays 2 Bill back to Back So they Said it was There Billing issues I’ve never Been late on payments even when there Glitch I staid payed so when they tell me they were running behind on billing it still doesn’t make sense

The water bills are crazy mine has also gradually increased and never have I paid over 100 now it’s tripled and for our seniors to get outrageous bills and get ridiculous responses from the office employees is uncared for.
