I respectfully request that the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) completely Defund the Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD) to ensure no more Catholic dollars are spent to support organizations advocating abortions, same sex marriage, legal prostitution and socialist activist groups.
I also respectfully request that all Bishops suspend the collection of CCHD funds this November in the year of our Lord 2010.

I have spent my week digging through the latest grant reports to see exactly where our altar collection money is going. The silence from the Conference regarding these findings is loud but it only strengthens my resolve to keep pushing until the funding stops.

Seeing this level of support confirms that so many of you share my deep concern about where our church contributions are actually ending up. It is heartening to know I am not alone in demanding that our faith remains untarnished by these agendas.

We need way more transparency with where the CCHD puts their money. It is so wrong to use catholic funds for this stuff.
Why are we funding the people trying to destroy the church? Cut the funding now.

My husband and I are tired of our donations supporting agendas that go against everything we were raised to believe in. Keep the money in the parish instead.
