You raised the bar, Syfy, for great story telling, original writing, indepth and unique characters and costuming, and then you cancel the show! What sort of industry role model are you! We need to encourage good programming, not get rid of it.

Fantastic series that Syfy should not have dropped. Defiance could have been the next Stargate Sg-1!! Defiance was so much better than any of the other shows on their network. Won't be watching Syfy anymore. Vofans.... don't forget to sign the other petition at: Change.org .....and spread the word!!! we must try to get our show revived!

Syfy, I know the production costs were high, but why couldn't you just cut the budget or cancel some of those horrible sharktopus movies. Defiance was such a good series, the best one on your network. It has such a devoted fanbase too! Kind of like trekkies we are the Vofans. With that kind of fandom it seems this show should not have been cancelled. Maybe the million and a half fans are just not worth it to you.

SyFy please renew Defiance, there is so much further potential for this series. Defiance had an amazing story and lore along with a brilliant and entertaining cast that many including my self thoroughly enjoyed watching. I can't wait to see the next adventures of Nolan and friends and pray for Defiance's triumphant return!

Shame on you SyFy, bring it back! Season 4 make it happen!

Wow!! Nice move Syfy! Your best series and you just flushed it down the toilet. Won't be watching your sad network anymore. Defiance just started to get it's groove. You had a great show and you let it go. Now I hope Netflix or Hulu picks it up. And I will subscribe if they do.

It's amazing to me that a series this good gets cancelled so quickly. Airing the show on friday nights at prime time will kill any shows ratings to a degree. But Defiance still averaged over a million viewers!!! And that's on a non major network for sci-fi! So Syfy....WTF?? You do realize most people go out on friday night in the 18-40 age bracket. Anyway, fans of the show would probably watch it a day or two later on demand or Hulu or something like that. It's not like you were losing viewers...the fans were still there! Mind boggling.

Defiance was a great show that deserved more than seasons. It should have never aired on Syfy. It should have been on Starz or HBO or something similar. The quality, depth, and presentation was way better than anything else on syfy. So, because syfy is too cheap to produce it, they cancel it. So now we have to hope Netflix or Hulu pick it up. Don't forget to sign the other petition to save Defiance at: Change.org

Defiance has been the best series I have seen for years. I feel as if I know the people of Defiance, and they are waiting for us to keep them alive.
