Freedom of speech is essential. Insulting or making fun of someone who is not present to defend himself or herself is not acceptable. If that person is highly respected and revered by billions of people worldwide, then you have some serious challenges.Muslims worldwide are peace-loving people, who will go to various lengths to defend the noble character of Prophet Muhammad.

To the writers, cartoonist, film makers, journalistswho want to make fun anddebase Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, take note. What happened in Paris is not isolated. There will ALWAYS be people who will go to the nth degree to defend the prophet.

We deplore killing of innocent people of all faiths, nationalities and ethnicities. We also abhor hateful speech, cartoons, movies, books and other media which in any way attacks the noble character of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. Defend the Prophet.
