This would greatly impact my bicycling and motorcycle riding in the area. I'm sure there would be other areas that this mining company could look to that aren't in such a populated area.

What an avoidable tragedy for so many to lose the peace and solitude we have had in this pristine area for generations when there are other less intrusive places for this business. Please reconsider.

Please do not do this. That area has been important to hundreds of families for generations including our own.

Please preserve the natural beauty and wildlife habitat of the Beautiful State of Montana. That’s why we come here from all over, not to see city life and townhomes and condos!!!!! You will ruin this piece of Heaven!

500,000 cubic yards of gravel is enough to fill a football field 230 feet high!

It seems like there is plenty of land located along either of the two main highways going into West Yellowstone that could support a sand & gravel operation with better logistics. Why would a gravel pit make sense along Denny Creek Road?

The Hebgen Basin is no place for a sand and gravel pit, and the Denny Creek Road is an especially bad choice. The basin serves as a corridor for wildlife and a major recreation zone for visitors, just outside Yellowstone Park. The Denny Creek road is narrow enough without truck traffic, and extremely busy already in summer months. This is a poor use of land in a vital corridor.

This would be terrible, as a land owner in the area, please do not allow this to happen, thanks for the help!
