Islington North Labour Party congratulates our MP Jeremy Corbyn on being elected leader of the Labour Party and calls for an economic alternative to austerity and income inequality.

Time for Blairite Labour to split and leave the workers and trade unions to speak for themselves! No to privitisation and yes to workers rights!

The attacks on a man of principle who has been elected demicratically by an overwhelming majority is nothing shirt of a disgrace and an attack on democracy itself.

Democracy seems to be fine with the establishment as long as the person they like wins. This is the most democratic leadership any UK party ever had.

JC stands for the true labour ethos, not the right wing tory-lite version of Tony Blair and his cronies. He is giving the electorate a true choice rather than continue down the American style of politics with two right wing parties.

Jeremy will be attacked from all sides. We as his supporters need to be active in all areas of our lives to counter this. This is our once in a generation chance to change politics for the better.

A pleasure to sign this to fight the idealogcal dogma of the tories. The establishment will now know there is at least some resistance to their undemocratic laws .

Jeremy has been democratically elected, and stands for what the Labour Party represents historically. To those MPs who don't like that, I ask you to back him up and support him and let's make a united party that truly IS electable. It's the gainsayers within the Labour Party that risk making Labour unelectable at the next general election - NOT Jeremy Corbyn!
