JC has a large body of support in the UK - he was elected democratically. Can we please have some intelligent, honest, measured and reasonable reporting?

The methods Jeremy Corbyn is espousing for quantitative easing. targeting the infrastructure and housing stock is brilliant and is just what's required at this stage. It will have the effect of increasing employment, reducing dependence on benefits and will generate growth by putting money into the economy, unlike the methods employed by Osborn and chums after the Lehman crisis. Much of that money has feed into asset booms, greatly enriching the “haves”, with a painfully slow trickle-down to the rest of society.” There are plenty of tools available that can be used to reduce any possible inflationary effect.

I hope Jeremy's election will mark the beginning of the end of nicely packaged career politicians as Labour MPs - those who, in the words of Ken Livingstone, "weren't terribly Labour". Let passion and conviction win the day!

Jeremy Corbyn is an excellent Labour Leader and will easily be the best Prime Minister we have had for decades.

If you are not pro-Corbyn you are either tory or 'new-labour', and should go.

Austerity policy is a tool used by neoliberal governments to engineer anomie and immiseration...global loan shark, the IMF, use enforced Austerity as a baseball bat to break the knees of Countries who refuse to comply with their criminal loans system..GeoCorporate governments, most notably, 5eyes, pour endless public money into endless war through which they and myriad other war profiteers prosper..while contemporaneously claiming that the minute amount welfare programmes cost is the reason they cannot afford to implement policies for the common good. They criminalise the poor to justify refusal of social justice...despite their policies engineering the poverty.
Austerity policy is not a true government policy...it only benefits these professional political parasites.

Jeremy Corbyn won an overwhelming majority to become leader. He must be supported so that the fight can be taken to the Conservatives. We do not want another Conservative victory.

This is a huge chance to build a fightback against the Tories. I'm sick of Cameron and the endless cuts. Let's create the mood to stop them NOW!

If my Mum, who is not a socialist by and stretch of the imagination, thinks Corbyn is the right man to lead the country then those elected to serve the party need to take stock of themselves and why they joined in the first place!

There is an alternative to austerity that can serve the people. Austerity is not the answer.
