Property Developers want to desecrate wild life and destroy a beautiful natural rain forest; plans are to put a block of units on top of a beautiful iconic waterfall and creek in 27 Redman Rd. Currently the iconic rainforest is home to many species of Australian Wild Life such as kookaburras, cockatoos, rainbow lorikeets, water dragons, geckos and so many more. Clearing of the diverse Australian flora and fauna in this area would be a tragedy.
The area is currently prone to flooding and on the Warringah council flood relief plan. After light rain the creek and waterfall have huge quantities of water flowing through. In 1980 the area flooded with water 4 feet above road level, units on top of the creek would increase flood risk. Please support residents in the local area to stop the development of these plans.More like this

You can't destroy this piece of land. Another concrete jungle is not needed in an already over developed area. How about you fix up the existing shambles along pittwater rd first? Now there is a better idea.

Here is our letter to residents: Dear Redman Rd Residents, Council has informed us that property developers intend to clear the beautiful vegetation and build a block of units on 27 Redmad Rd. This will be on top of the waterfall and the large body of water that currently sits there. Plans are to put a block of units on top of a beautiful iconic water fall and creek in 27 Redman Rd. The area is currently prone to flooding and on the warringah council flood relief plan. Residents feel at risk and in danger of significant flooding as after light rain the creek and water fall have huge quantities of water flowing through. Despite rejection from council the developers are insisting on developing a block of units over this creek and water fall in 27 Redman Rd causing huge flood risks and environmental hazards. Deforestation of the area begun on Monday the 16th December. There are currently countless species of native Australian wild life in the area in need of habitat. Such species include the black cockatoo, white cockatoo, kookaburra, rain bow lorikeet, possums, water dragons, geckos and so many more. This is the last evidence of Dee Whys beautiful natural rain forest and showcase of our diverse wild life.
