It is such an honor to have had Brenda Beebe as a Teacher, Mentor and friend. She is the reason I was able to choose a college, as she took me and Lara Hamilton Graves to schools to audition for scholarships. I will be forever grateful for her.

Brenda and I were in the first ever drama classes at VRJC. I will always remember her sweet smile and treasured friendship.

Brenda was a wonderful influence for my daughters , Rachel and Lydia, during their years in high school. It would be very fitting to honor Brenda’s legacy by renaming the Little Theatre.

She was an amazing educator. I never took drama or theater while I was in high school, but you didn't have to be in her class to be one of her kids!!

Beebe did not hide her light, and therefore many benefited. It would only be benefiting that her theatre be given her name sake.

Brenda Beebe made theater (and debate and speech) a powerhouse. He connection to students and their goals and dreams continues for so many and for me personally 40 years after graduating. Her loss is devastating for me, but having her memory live on would mean everything.
