I never held a coach in such high regard as I did Coach Nap. This should have been done when he retired.

This man was a dignified leader and teacher who took much pride in the craft of coaching and teaching. Although I was the big dog on the mound at Holy Ghost Prep and St. Mary Doan....when I transferred back to Pennsbury with an average of 1100 graduating class....I literally was the 6 man on a 5 man pitching roster in 1980. Coach sat me down and we both looked out on the field and he turned to me with tears in his eyes and said he had to let me go and that he was sorry. I actually felt worse for him than myself that's how involved he was with each and every player. Never forget this man.

This is an absolute must that the Pennsbury baseball field be named after coach Nap you could not find a more respectful and dedicated individual!
