The USA is in a drug and opioid epidemic. Portugal followed this law and their use of the drug is the lowest in Europe. People shouldn't be arrested fro drugs they should be treated with help which is what is needed to get over their addiction.

about time we tried something that actually works. throwing people in prison for being sick ruins lives. let people get the help they need instead of handcuffs
