We the undersigned petition the City Counsel of Homewood, Alabama to declare the Rodeway Inn and Suites located at 260 Oxmoor Road a public nuisance, and take all available actions to revoke the business license or correct the history of criminal problems at this establishment. This hotel has a history of being the source of crime in the West Homewood area including a homicide on March 3, 2013 and a raid of a Methamphetamine Lab on July 25, 2011. As citizens and business leaders of Homewood we feel that this hotel has a negative impact of the safety and quality of life of our community and hereby ask the city to take immediate action to prevent future crime at this business establishment.
