My father who is NOT "Hawaiian" raised us with these words. "You folks are not Americans, so you do not have to pledge allegiance to the American flag in school. Be respectful and stand at your desk with you hands by your side. "Your mama's people did not have a chance to vote for their independence.." So I vote now.

The Kingdom of Hawaii is a Nation under illegal occupation. War crimes were never detested by the US DOJ in address to Professor Willam Chun's notice to the DOJ back in October 2015. Following the American law, we know that failure to respond, is consequently admitting to a crime and a direct violation of your own policies. Since there is no evidence of a Treaty of Annexation between The US & the Kingdom of Hawaii, the Kingdom of Hawaii continues to be under Illegal Occupation & the repercussions of a nearly 200 year old pro-longed crime yields fruit of genocide that is very imminent in the Kanaka Maoli, 'til today. Now.... While we (The Kanaka Maoli - the rightful heir to the Kingdom of Hawai'i) find the "Pono" path, pick up the pieces of our Nation, & come to a consensus of self determination at our own pace, we expect justice & proper reparations based on our terms, NOT US' TERMS. Based on testimony from the US DOI of the documented voices of the Kanaka Maoli, Justice looks like: the US vacating Hawaii after almost 2 centuries of illegal occupation. The urgency of vacating is crucial, in avoidance of another Pearl Harbor type incident since the possibility of another World War may be upon the American horizon. In using Hawaii as the store grounds for US militia and your practices, the US continues to place Hawaii & its people at risk. Let us not repeat history! The documents of the Kingdom's former leaders and the Ku'e Petitions of our ancestors cannot be ignored. The testimony of our people addressed to the US DOI was an astounding NO! In reference to Federal Recogniton. Isn't American Demoncracy centered around, "for the people, by the people?" Well, the people have spoken! Vacate Hawaii! America has no legal jurisdiction over The Kingdom of Hawai'i. The US has meddled in Hawaiian Affairs long enough. Go Home Uncle Sam! When will America fulfill "Justice for All."

I reaffirm and support the independence of the Hawaiian Kingdom, the words of James Kaulia, and the signatures of my ancestors on the Ku'e Petitions of 1898.
