Having grown up in the ahupua'a of Halele'a and raised with the traditional waiwai and 'ike of our kupuna of Halele'a and having been passed down kuleana to malama our wahi pana and as a kia'i to our wahi kapu of Ke'e, I sign this petition in support of our commitment to uphold and honor our kuleana to our keiki, kupuna, lahui and 'aina. I sign this petition in support to unify all efforts to create an Independent Hawai'i, and to restore Ko Hawai'i Pae 'Aina and especially the ahupua'a of Halelea'a to the descendants of the Hawaiian Kingdom for a better future for generations to come. I stand in support of this petiton with the many 'ohana and kako'o of Halele'a. Me ka ha'aha'a, Hoku Cabebe

As an American, I am committed to ensuring justice for Hawaiian nationals and the natural resources they have been entrusted with, as it is my US government illegally occupying their country. It is under US law that constant and increasing public trust abuses are occurring. Therefore, it is also an American and international responsibility to rectify these wrongful acts under international law, and to support the peaceful transition and correction that needs to occur. Mahalo and aloha ʻāina. (Nomi Carmona)
