I stand with first Nation People, Kanaka Maoli to self determine in anyway they want. My view total Independence is only real solution, but not my choice to make.

I have been deeply blinded by the mechanical tongue that is now in place of what once was my eternal mother tongue it was through the will power of this very knowing yet not knowing that began my drive to how it became why it is today and how can i as an individual move foward for this very matter corrupted my very foundation. It is this mechanical tongue i refuse to work a 9-5, yet how can i become self sustainable more importantly how can i get involve and make a difference in our cultural practices and beliefs within the right community of like minded individuals

In an effort to educate protect and support independence - It is my hope that this organization/registration will recognize those of us who had no choice but to leave our island home because of the socio-economic injustice and segregation to obtain an education for survival. The disappointing fact is that even with expert education and demonstrated value - Hawaii is not ready nor accepting because "old boy networks" and nonsense politics. Improving the overall health and wellness of our people rests upon increased access to THREE things... All Kanaka Maoli should be afforded three things as basic RIGHTS 1. FREE Higher Education 2. Land ownership that is truly affordable and 3. FREE healthcare The Hawaii State College system limits the number of Native Hawaiian tuition waivers. FIX IT! Hawaiian Homelands belong to ALL kanaka maoli - abolish the blood quantum requirement ..FIX IT! 5 Native Hawaiian Health Systems are already established...EXPAND IT!! So ALL Kanaka Maoli can be served without cost. Final thoughts - you, those who are rallying together against OHA and Na'i Aupuni ...you HAVE to recognize that education, homestead, and health care ARE the core issues. You are educated, you have a home in Hawaii, and based on those two things - I'm sure you have access to quality healthcare. DO NOT lose sight of the bottom line - INDEPENDENCE AS A NATION (not federal recognition!) REQUIRES US TO ADDRESS EDUCATION, HOMESTEAD, & HEALTHCARE to truly increase the wellness of our people!

It is my affirmation that the U.S. will honor our Treaty of Independence of 1849 which it cosigned as a member of the International Family of Nations Accords it has never been abrogated or rescinded. It is still in force to this very day. The U.S. must comply and DeOccupy. It must also honor the U.S. Constitution & Hawaiian Law as co-equal nations of mutual respect.
