Getting into a car to drive while tired is just as bad as making the decision to drive drunk. Harsher punishment should be in place for those poor decisions that affect others lives.

This is heartbreaking, and people who are negligent behind the wheel need to face consequences for their actions!

If we can get your state then that will be three states and maybe all will catch on. Sorry for your loss, she sounded like a great lady. Rest in peace Deb.

I am so sorry for your loss. Drowsy driving should be federally regulated the same way truckers can only operate for a certain number of hours. Too many people see their car and phone as an extension of themselves and seriously don’t care about the consequences of their actions. Plus these laws for driving need to be updated to serve what is happening in 2025.

All drivers should be help accountable for their actions. If you're tired and don't pull over you should be held accountable for reckless homicide if you take someone else's life dues to an accident you cause because you chose not to pull over when tired.
