Debdale Outdoor Centre Petition Debdale Outdoor Centre has been owned and operated by Manchester City Council for more than 25 years, and during this time has given a unique and high quality experience to many adults and young people alike - over a third of a million people. Recent Council proposals have put this facility at risk of transfer to a third party management company, or closure. This we believe will have a detrimental effect on both prices and the quality of the service, particularly in standards of equipment, tuition, and safety. We the undersigned call upon Manchester City Council to reconsider the proposed changes and to continue to own and operate Debdale Outdoor Centre within Manchester City Council, so that the residents of Manchester can continue to benefit from this unique and high quality service within Manchester.
