Not every parcel of land needs to be covered by cement. PLEASE stop all the building, you are not only destroying the beauty of this state, you are also taking away land the wildlife needs to survive. I know there is room for growth however we do not need to be on top of each other for that growth to continue.

Calusa Lakes in Nokomis also had many roads flooded and we have a lot of new developments around us. In 8 years, I have never seen this kind of flooding. We are told Fox Creek flows the wrong direction during storms. WHY!

Neal builders are planning a 6500 complex east of 75 at 3H ranch site. This project needs to be paused until the county’s infrastructure can support it. This over development needs to stop!

My neighborhood, Rivo lakes, was flooded and they are about to build 6500 homes next to us. There is nowhere for the water to go.

This state doesn’t care about our health. The county doesn’t. WHO else do we turn to for public health advise and protection?

This is an ongoing problem that’s been ignored as the developers and commissioners are in the same growth at any cost.

We must put an end to all this stripping of land for vast amounts of housing, & stop allowing these builders to change the requirements for building that were put in effect, for good reason, decades ago.

This flooding was NOT simply from a lot of rain! Anyone with eyes can see that and it is imperative that the county get to the bottom of the causes and correct them. My home on a tributary of Phillippi Creek was flooded with 4' of contaminated water and everything on my first floor was ruined, along with my car. This cannot happen again. I've lived here for 10 years and NEVER seen anything like this amount of water.
