I have to sign this anonymously because otherwise I may lose my job. I'm a bi woman (the old-fashioned biological type) and no longer feel that Stonewall represents my interests. It's all about trans rights over women's rights to dignity, safety and privacy. The definition of transgender Stonewall uses is so vast it includes transsexuals (i.e. individuals with gender dysphoria), autogynephiles, transvestites... The list goes on. All of whom are being given the green card to enter spaces that women have fought for.

They also need to break their relationship with Mermaids which grooms children through schools and encourages children to keep secrets and distance themselves from their parents, one of the classic methods of child abusers.

I am signing because it is very important that there is open discussion on the impact of 'gender identity' on women and children. The government is carrying out a public consultation on its proposals to change the Gender Recognition Act and has asked for discussion. Yet, women’s groups have had their meetings disrupted or cancelled at the last minute. These women want to discuss how these issues might affect women-only spaces and services. Stonewall needs to reconsider its position on 'gender identity' as a matter of urgency.

Stonewall now offers a 'mark of excellence' for institutions that protect Ls, G, B, and Ts. But unless it specifically engages with the doubts that many of the Ls, Gs, and Bs have about its full-on trans makeover, this endorsement is invalid.

Sexuality is determined by sex, not by someones elses internal feelings relating to a socially constructed set of norms & behaviours (gender). Lesbians & their concerns are being ignored. Lesbians are being bullied & harassed when they refuse to accept a penis in a sexual relationship, or that a penis is female & they should 'suck my girldick'. This harassment is homophobic & the similarities to corrective rape cannot be ignored.

Women don't have penises. Women's and girls' rights to their own spaces must be preserved and peotext

Sad to see an organisation that was so successful at advancing the rights of lesbians and homosexuals and challenging society's views actually being a divisive force with the constant accusations of bigotry , hate and transphobia directed against anyone who points out the conflict inherent in trans demands and women's rights. Women have concerns about the erosion of our sex based rights, and these concerns are real and valid. Trans people have concerns about their ability to live free from harm and these are real and valid. To attempt to shut down discussion, to use intemperate language, to misrepresent facts in an attempt to gain the moral high ground - all these are acts unworthy of what Stonewall once stood for and was respected for. As a charity, your remit is to support ALL those your organisation purports to support and yet you fail to recognise the harms of gender identity with regard to the Lesbians, Gays and Bisexuals who entrust you to support their rights EQUALLY.

The opportunities to discuss & debate and the recognition & acceptance of diverse opinions is fundamental to a movement which exists to promote humananitarian rights and equality of opportunity.

Stonewall is doing more to harm gay people than the Westboro Baptist Church ever managed.

Sex Matters and We Need to Talk. Shutting down debate and discussion simply fosters resentment and anger and does nothing to help either side. Please listen to reason and in particular listen to gender critical women and stop bulldozing them.

I feel like I have to hide my name because my safety will be threatened by trans activists if they know who I am.

Transgender ideology is, to my mind, a reaction against the gains made by feminists, lesbian and gay liberationists and other gender abolitionists.

Although Stonewall's charitable objectives do not include the promotion of women's rights or children's safeguarding, we have laws which protect both of these. Is Stonewall somehow exempt from the rule of law?

We need to be able to talk about this it's not as simple as trans activists make out as non binary I support everyone's safety but the how to do that.. that needs much more thought and listening . Lesbian groups I have bern in have had transwomen in them since 1970's some have been really problematic and some totaly fine ...the ones that were problematic it was like having dominant male taking over womens space .They .did not take time to realize how different their lives and experiences are from natal women I have total repect for those that do but we should not be bullied by those that don't understand how deep female exoerience and sexism goes it's not just about looks and operations . The silencing of anyone that says it's complicated is both bullying and ultimatrly unhelpful to Trans people as this approach has made people who were pro trans now really anti trans because of refusal to listen and calling everybody terfs ... I have friends that are desperate for this new act as their lives are very difficult but it a mark of how little women are respected that female rights and protections are just being swept aside ...any other grouo other then women and the left would denounce the current trans activism as being Culteral Appropiation by the privileged ...of course it's more complicated than that but please listen to all sides ..wonen should be allowed to define themselves not be subject to having defination changed by others ...all people need to be protected in this both sides need to listen respectfuly to eachother I support Trans people but they should fight for trans exeptance as transwomen not change definition of women

When we allow debate to be shut down by a minority group then we are on very dangerous ground for a democratic society - this must not go unchallenged.

I am a lesbian and formerly an active supporter of Stonewall. It's not a case of Stonewall no longer representing me, it is actively campaigning against my right to private women-only space. Stonewall has betrayed lesbian and women's rights. It is actively supporting a homophobic ideology and it needs to rebrand itself as a Trans organisation and stop pretending it has any interest in the Ls, the Gs and the Ts.

I have always supported my trans friends, and that will never change, but I cannot sit back while the floodgates are opened for men, who look like men, sound like men, act like men and feel like men get access to vulnerable and exposed women and children. Their rights MUST come first. I think we're looking at a runaway train here

Stonewall have turned their backs on gap, lesbian and bisexual people in recent years, as they pursue the status and big bucks supporting the trans agenda.
