Sex based rights of women should not be eroded

I personally transitioned 35yrs ago. Stonewall has done those considering transitioning a great disservice by creating such a divisive and ignorant debate. I only considered myself to be "trans' when in the process of transitioning. I am full integrated into the community and do not broadcast to anyone about my past history. This is such a huge decision for people to make living 2yrs in preferred gender before fully transitioning is a good thing allowing plenty of time for reflection before any irreversible decisions are made. I urge Stonewall to leave current legislation as it is and to devote their time to healing the huge rift they have created in our community and society in general by their current approach which is frankly just wrong.

Get back to your roots Stonewall. Do better by women and LGB people.

Trans women are men who identify as woman. They are not women. And no one tells lesbians to have sex with men!

Need to be able to talk about this without the trans activists screaming "transphobic" unless everyone capitulates to their every whim.

Hands off women’s sex-based rights

My trans friends need rights and protection. However, these must NOT rip away the rights and protections of others. Self ID is not stringent enough, non-trans people will be able to abuse it, harming trans people as well as non-trans. This needs to be properly debated to find a solution. Your "politics" cause entrenchment on both sides.

You've lost your way

Sex is real. Women deserve sex based rights, exclusive spaces and fair competitions in sports, achievements, scholarships etc andthe choice on when male bodies are allowed. You can still be a trans ally and not have to agree with them on everything. That is unhealthy and not fair to women or LGB people.

I am all for transgender people having rights but not when it puts women and children at risk. Self ID is not the way!

Trans adults should be supported to transition and treated as the gender they identify as, but not to the exclusion of women, biological reality of sex and by extension same-sex attraction. Children shouldn’t be affirmed or encouraged into irreversible medical treatments.

Stonewall, I have always been a trans ally but your policies are in conflict with woman and you have lost my support. I am especially upset by the encroachment and harassment experienced by lesbians. Where is your support for them? Your ideas are not working. Reconsider.

Single sex spaces for women and girls, is a really important safeguarding requirement.

The misogyny that Stonewall directs toward natal women in general (appropriating the word "woman," seeking to separate it from material sexual reality, and insisting that anyone who self-identifies as a woman is a woman, and, therefore, entitled to female sex-segregated spaces) and natal lesbians (calling female -to-female sexual attraction"transphobic," insisting that males who self-identify as homosexual women are lesbians, and must be included in natal lesbians dating pools) in particular must stop.

Stonewall have thrown the lg under a bus - and women too.
