This is a very complex subject. Where children and young people are concerned we have to tread very carefully. Young minds are vulnerable and young people easily confused. Respect that and please treat we adults as adults. Pushing your agenda ruthlessly can do great harm and why undo the good work you have done on other fronts by stifling honest concerned debate. This is not one easy settled issue with simplistic answers

Reasoned disagreement is not phobic; there are nuances to these issues, and it is dangerous and irresponsible to ignore them.

It's so bad that women have to remain anonymous for fear of physical attack. I have 2 small children to keep safe so have to stay quieter than I'd like. And NO, I am NOT a middle-aged, middle-class or white.

Stonewall sort it out and open the debate! Identity and sexuality are highly important topics but ignoring the gender rights of others is not the way to go about this!

Please, please take another long look at what you are doing and the consequences.

Please think this through. This is not a black and white issue.

There must be dialogue and open debate and science has to be respected.

Women’s rights matter too.

I am worried that division is being created where division is not needed. Adult women who lived their lives as girls should be allowed to have their own spaces without being seen to be exclusionary or being transphobic. Gender identity appears to be out trumping sex oppression and the term gender and sex is too often conflated. I fully support transgender rights but women cannot have their rights eroded to accomodated transgender people - its to much to ask of us.

If we can’t discuss and debate a change to the law that affects us, the situation for everyone will be much worse - for everyone including trans people.

Women need sex-based rights and they need spaces away from natal males. The self ID'ing crowd needs their own spaces that meet their own requirements.

While I support the rights of trans people to freely live their lives without fear and prejudice, I am increasingly unhappy about the silencing of debate by branding anyone who raises concerns as transphobe or TERF.

Sex based rights should not be threatened by self ID. The discussion is nuanced and necessary.

Stonewall has jettisoned the rights of lesbians

There must be a debate. Women’s rights must be considered. The safety of women and girls must be considered.

If dialogue is not allowed, we will soon find ourselves living in a totalitarian, fascist, fear ridden society. Come on stonewall, remember the reason for your existence!

Men are not women. Woman is a material reality, not an identity. Stick your appropriation.
