The labelling as 'bigots' or 'transphobes' of people who are concerned about the apparent conflict between transgender rights and women's sex-based rights is fascistic. The refusal to acknowledge the issue is corrosive of trust between all sex and gender groups. This discussion should be had, with understanding and respect on all sides.

Too scared to argue for natal women's safety. The abuse from the other side is too much. Consider me another woman silenced.

As a father of 6 daughters I’m worried about the continual erosion and removal of rights and safety measures hard fought over the last 100 years suddenly not being there to enable and protect them as women for when they venture out on their own into adulthood and the word.

Everybody knows black, lesbian, woman Storme DeLarverie started Stonewall. Now it abandons lesbians.

I am pro Trans. I have friends who are trans women. However a person who grows up as a man will never understand the pressures and problems of growing up as a woman. They have their own pressures and problems, but they are not the same. I have been called a TERF because I said I won't have a trans woman as a sexual partner. That does not make me phobic, simply it makes me human. Just because I don't like Pineapple doesn't make me phobic, it's just not for me.

Whenever women's rights and concerns are raised, I see men and trans women making direct and very serious, menacing threats of violence at women raising the subject of women's issues and rights. I am a bisexual woman and feel increasingly pushed out and isolated not only from lgbt issues but also from women's issues and representation. Stonewall and other organisations need to recognise the hatred, bigotry and threats faced by women. These things are not tolerated when levelled towards trans women, but it seems that Stonewall has allowed "cis" women to become hate figures and targets for abuse as a result of denying women (lesbian, bisexual or straight) the ability to freely discuss their concerns and issues.

The rights of women and girls are being sidelined.

Please reconsider your approach. By uncritically supporting a movement that relies on misogynistic, homophobic, anti-science totalitarianism, you have failed women and lesbians spectacularly.

Women should be able to feel at ease and comfortable going into female only areas and not worry that a trans might be there!

All that is needed is reasoned debate.

I am horrified at the organisation that Stonewall has become..... Please read the petition and reflect on why it has become necessary.

Shame on you, Stonewall! Shame on you for turning your back on lesbians and women. You have shown your true colours and they're not the colours of the rainbow. You only have an interest in the trans ideology. The sooner everyone else realises this, the better. No MAN can ever be a woman. We won't lie for the sake of mens feelings. Woman - adult human female.

You cannot stand for equality when you encourage misogyny.

The rights of women and girls are being sidelined. Do not be complicit in silencing women’s voices.

Not much debate in the media either. A complicit silence instead. The orthodoxy on this issue is deeply troubling.
