Trans men can NEVER be women - simple biology. Stonewall just choosing a new fight cos it’s become so irrelevant.

I believe Stonewall is no longer safe for the people it was originally for. People who believe gender is innate are not our allies (especially women's) as gender and the roles assigned have only been harmful to our livelihood and happiness. The "genital preference" rhetoric is homophobic, telling lesbians and gays to "examine our preferences" and "be open to relationships with the opposite sex" is homophobic. Trans people do not change their sex and it is not our duty to coddle straight people's feelings by dating them or allowing them into our spaces simply because they wear a label. I urge Stonewall to rethink how they view sexuality and board members to actually read about gay/lesbian history as it seems they have no idea of the struggles and rhetoric we've had to fight against since the very beginning. I am a lesbian who refuses to date a man who dare calls himself a woman and claims he can face "misogyny". This movement is an insult to people who have body dysmorphia (I do), an insult to lesbians and gays while also an insult to anyone who knows biological sex is real and always has been. Please help lesbians and gays by signing this petitions. We do not wish bodily harm to gender conforming (trans) people but we will also not allow them to bulldoze our spaces and take our rights.

You do nothing as same sex attraction is being demonized

Legislation on sex, gender and child protection should be down to the government. But if the government are being advised by dictators and extremists, we're screwed. Good luck with everything.

I saw a transwoman publicly call a lesbian transphobic because she didn't want to have sex with someone who has a penis, as she was a lesbian. She liked female genitals. Pretty simple idea, been around for ages.

By choosing a narrow purely identity based approach instead of the broader equality through extending gender neutral facilities approach, Stonewall have set the rights of one group of people against another. There is a difference between defining your own space and colonising the spaces of others which is what the whole "I identify therefore I am" argument seems to be leading to. There are broader issues involved with the whole self id vs biological reality anyway. Where does society draw the line? Trans racial people like Martina Bigg or Trans species people? They all rely on the I "identify therefore I am" argument to validate themselves as well. There needs to be a compromise and a rethink on strategy here as the current one seems hell bent on creating enemies and legally empowering perverts like Yaniv rather than actually making common cause with a broader groundswell of support.

When you marginalize people for not conforming to a type then groom that person into castration or genital mutililation is homophobic and abusive.

Trans ideology is hurting people in and out of the LGBT community. Help.

Please stop hurting those you say you want to protect

I believe in a movement that seeks to represent gay and bisexual individuals that considers our needs not in relation to the false gender identity politics. I also believe in us belonging to mainstream society and how our identity goes beyond being gay. This is what many have fought for

I absolutely support the rights of any person to present themselves to the world as they choose, but not in a way that diminishes the valid rights of another group. I am as a natal woman distressed that liberal thinking people like me are being labelled as transphobic because we recognise biological (i.e. scientific) differences.

Sex abuse survivor who wants to be able to feel safe using a woman's toilet without sharing it with a penis owner however they identify.

If Everyone is Equal then there is no heirarchy of rights. So one group's rights must not trump other people's. And no groups beliefs must no trump facts... Our body's gender is a "given", not chosen. And men and women are biologically different - a woman is not just a feminine man, and a man is not just a masculine woman.

Organisations shouldn't redefine what it is to be a lesbian (and then train others) without consulting extensively with lesbians.

Trans ideology is misogynist and homophobic. The rights tran activists femand clash with women's rights and erase womanhood and lesbianism.

Thanks getting out of hand and huge changes need to be made so that women whether heterosexual, lesbian or bisexual feel safe.

Forcing gender pronouns on others when perception differs is trans tyranny. Forcing penises on women's spaces is trans tyranny. Forcing to compete in sports against male bodied people is trans tyranny.
