Please, please try to reflect the views of the women who are 50% of the population.

The needs of 50% of the population are being subsumed due to the demand of less than 1% who are all men.

You must acknowledge women's rights to define themselves as a separate biological entity. Women need single sex facilities in certain places. There must be a debate about this.

So many people I know have valid concerns about transgender policy — and not a one of them wants to deny trans people protections and rights. Debate and questioning for are not transphobic.

I got told to 'suck-a-dick' for asking a question. I guess as a female I should be seen and not heard.

This needs much more discussion. The One Size Fits All Approach could create more division.

Transwomen are just that, Transwomen. Their experience is a trans experience, unique and of itself. It is not a woman's experience; it can never be thus. The nomenclature is "Own it" I believe. Trans is a unique experience in the world and one can feel proud of that fact without pushing and erasing womanhood out.
There is space for everyone.

There really needs to be protection for women and children in all this. It needs to be the number one priority for everyone

There are many reasons why young girls might feel the need to avoid becoming a woman, and very distinct reasons why some men feel the need to present as, or in some cases that they really are, women. Those issues are not the same, nor is the same approach right for all those people. Stonewall's stance, demanding the same approach, is trampling on many vulnerable people who don't fit their one idea - and their demand that women accept legal changes that affect women, accept them without question or debate, is appalling.

Older lesbian here, I remember how difficult it was coming to terms with my sexuality.
The messages you're sending to young lesbians is totally disrespectful, disgusting and heartbreaking.
Because of your BS they have nowhere safe to go.
And THAT is just the TIP of my ice-burg.

Trans people have the right to a life without discrimination, legislation already ensures this. Taking over women’s safe spaces and trampling all over safeguarding of young girls is pure hate of the female sex.

Not a simple issue, but deserving of debate considering the evident danger of abuse by some self defining women.

Self id is not safe for women. You are removing women’s rights for a mans feelings. That’s literally blind faith in someone else’s word

Stonewall’s attitude to this issue has worried me for some time. It concerns me that the hard-won and still incomplete rights of women are regarded as of lesser importance than those of transgender people. Also, the rights of lesbians and gay men are under threat Stonewall should recognise this..

Please separate out sex and gender. They are not the same. You keep conflating them. And gender identity is a faith position, there is no evidence for it. You can support transgender people without believing in it. Finally accept that there is more than one perspective when it comes to transgenderism. Being gender critical does not mean being transphobic and we have no evidence based approach to dealing with gender-questioning children, certainly not enough to favour the affirmative approach over the wait and see approach followed by the Tavistock

Stonewall exists to defend the rights of homosexuals and transsexuals. You cannot defend the rights of homosexuals and transsexuals if you cannot say who is homosexual (or transsexual) and who is not. You cannot say who is homosexual (or transsexual) and who is not if you cannot say who is female and who is male.
When did the right of heterosexual male transvestites to be called lesbians even become part of your mandate, let alone its central pillar?

Trans equality should not subjugate the sex base rights and protections for women & girls. These hard fought rights safeguard women and this should, in no way, be diminished or compromised. Trans women are integral to this debate.
