It is clear that the latest plan to require reservations was hatched by someone who does not need to take a ferry. Wonder how they would feel if they had to make not one, but two reservations to shop. Or go to the dentist, or the drug store, or a movie. Or to school, or a play, or well, pretty much anything at all. And this includes work.

We use to use the BC Ferries every second weekend. Now maybe once or twice a year at most. What ever reason BC Ferries comes up with the COST is to HIGH.

It would be absolutely wonderful to not be held hostage on this island by a greed filled corporation. $400 return for a family of 5 is absolutely ridiculous.

BC Ferries has tried, for too long and with no success, to spend our money in luxurious ways rather than keeping fares reasonable for passengers. It is time BC Ferries realizes they are NOT a cruise ship, rather, they are basic transportation and a link in the highway system. I for one am tired of them paying lip service to their promises of listening to customers. It is time for an intervention by someone who has the passengers in mind.
