Many of you have expressed a strong interest in seeing more marine life programming on the Discovery Channel. I am currently reaching out to network representatives to discuss the possibility of creating a dedicated whale celebration during the winter months.

The response to this proposal has been truly heartening. It is clear that many people share the desire for a dedicated week of ocean conservation programming.

I would love to see a "Whale Week" and I don't know why Discovery Channel has not done something like this yet. I love whales.
Paaaaalleeeeeeeeease make a whale week!! Love whales they are brilliant oceanic animals who deserve an entire week dedicated to them.
A entire week dedicated to whales and dolphins would be great. Lots of shows could be done on orcas..The true apex predator of the ocean that great whites are scared of.
YES PLZ. Discovery needs to stop ignoring the biggest animals on the planet. Get on it!!
Whales are way cooler than sharks anyway. Feb is a perfect time for it too since its so cold and boring.

Would love to have another week long program about whales (large water mammals) to air for a break in the year.
I would love to see a "Whale Week" and I don't know why Discovery Channel has not done something like this yet. I love whales.
