My children are in second and third grade. They need my assistance from 8am til approximately 2:00pm daily. I am unable to work due to this. They ask often when they can go back to regular school. The strain on our home life trying.

My seven year old asked Santa for three things this year. 1. New pjs 2. For the coronavirus to go away and 3. PLEASE let us us how back to school.
All the kids miss their friends, and regular routine. Please reopen the schools, and allow the parents to chose virtual for f2f themselves.

Pleased let our children go back to school. My advice would be to follow some of our neighboring county’s guidelines that have kept the children in school, Currituck for example. Our children need to be in school! Period!

My child is in Kindergarten DLI. This program was not meant to be done virtually and there is no “immersion” while learning on a computer a few hours a day.

Open the schools! Most parents go to work 8+hours per day, so our kids either go to school or go to daycare with young babies and daycare workers. Open the schools unless you want to deprive our future of their future. Why is in-person school not essential?

Our son kindergarten teacher is amazing however virtual is extremely difficult for his learning. He had the best 11 days in face to face learning and was crushed when school closed! Having nieces and nephews in surrounding counties who are in school learning and thriving is proof we can make this work with different quarantine guidelines !
