Most of you are aware of David Creamer's situation to some degree.  His ex is really pushing and playing the courts.  She has no shame about what she is dragging David through.

David's ex has received the house, her car has been completely paid off by David, he has been paying on a court ordered very large bill (no proof except a bill that was written by her boyfriend at the time) for work that was supposidly done on the house, and so much more.  Financially, David has taken a huge hit.

In addition, there is a law saying that after so many years of marriage, as in this case, David is responsible for alimony for the rest of her life ($750), unless she cohabitates or dies, because she has never held down a job. (Go get a job girl!).  Having an affair has absolutely no relevance. So, even though they are divorced, his responsibility for her never ends. He is basically being punished for being married for 26 years. And, the courts have decided that he needs to spend a little over 2 months worth of weekends in jail for not paying alimony.   David...one of the nicest guys I know...in jail.

I believe that being unfaithful in a marriage should be an exception to this law.  If you believe this situation is unfair to David, please sign this petition.  I need as many sig's as I can get.  You may also send this form via e-mail to more friends! I want as many sig's as possible.

Update 5/23 -- David was pretty traumatized from his first weekend.  I am worried about him.  He was in a cell with 10 other individuals.  He could not believe the support from all of you and your comments...THANK YOU so much!!!  I'm still working on getting more signatures and would appreciate whatever you could do to get more.
