To the Manager and Board of Commissioners, La Plata County Government As a La Plata County resident I would appreciate the opportunity for an open community conversation about the role of local government in supporting public media. Specifically, I'd like La Plata County to revisit its decisions regarding the use of cable television franchise revenues. Durango Community Access Television (DCAT) is a valuable local resource, enabling a multitude of community voices to be heard. I believe it deserves our support.
