DCA is an odorless, colorless, inexpensive, relatively non-toxic, small molecule which researchers in the University of Alberta believe may soon be used as an effective treatment for many forms of cancer. It has shown to reduce tumors on lab rats of up to 70% as well as attacking on the cancer cells and not healthy cells. However, the drug is relatively cheap and affordable, so the FDA and pharmaceutical companies choose not to approve and fund it because there is no profit to be made from it. This should not be. We must change this so that we may find a cure.
