Bike lanes on streets - especially if next to curbs - are unsafe for anyone on foot or at intersections in a car. Need to require license, insurance, same rules as cars, or lives will continue to be lost.

I believe in a walkable (no cars) city. I support #RideTwoWheels. However, many bike lanes in downtown shopping neighborhoods are poorly planned and executed. DC needs new thinking in concert with the residents of each neighborhood.

I need curb access and parking. I am 77 do not intend to ride a bike to grocery store or hardware store. Winter snd rain are not conducive to biking.

SAVE OUR STREETS
•Lane closures cause gridlock and pollution.
•Restrict travel access for everyone.
•Make streets and sidewalks less safe.
•Put retailers and restaurants out of business.
•Interfere with the return to work, crushing DC's budget.
•Loss of street parking and loading/delivery access.
•Inhibit Fire, EMS, and Police access.
•Create barriers to sidewalks for the elderly and disabled.
•Closed lanes make it difficult for families to get around.
•Make DC a less desirable place to live, work, and play.

Too much crime in DC to FORCE the elderly to walk the streets. Illegal quarantine bankrupted too many small businesses
