Totally agree. We all need to work together. DDOT seems to not respond to input. A dialog over all its changes. Much of what they di is UGLY.,, Paddles (Vertical traffic deliniators) cost $150 each. A poor decision to add them by the thousands to our streets. Culpability?

Last week, I was traveling in the side lane off K Street, NW, and was unable to make a right turn onto 16th Street, NW because approximately half of the roadway had been converted into an e-bike parking area. There were no posted signs indicating this change, and drivers in front of me had to stop abruptly and turn left left back onto K Street, NW. There are indeed issues around safety and the lack of parking spaces.

There are too many driving distractions particularly with the fact that our shopping is through delivery. I believe that we should make a clear distinction between roadway and pedestrian area. The comingling of so much is stressful for all.

We support you. We're going through similar situations here in Philadelphia.

It's rediculus, and too many speed cameras, stop sign cameras, then want to bring the stadium back, with no parking available to resident owners.

I do not want Texas Ave SE to be cut off for turning from East Capitol NE.

DDOT excessive use of funding for bike lanes is questionable especially without research, and reconstruction of streets for no true meaning. Like Georgia Ave is ridiculous

This is by far the worse use of taxpayer money since the H st street car!! DDOT is so incapable of doing their job, not only are they making traffic worse, taking away parking that residents have paid for, but have zero knowledge of physics and are LITERALLY breaking DC laws. DC law states, bike lanes must travel IN THE SAME DIRECTION as traffic. Bike lanes on side residential streets like Kalorama, Wyoming, California are all ILLEGAL!! DDOT has completely failed at their job, reducing traffic congested and safer commutes for ALL travelers. Lastly, why are there purchased traffic studies done that are not on DC traffic patterns? It is NOT acceptable to spend funds on studies unrelated to the actual roads that changes are being made on!! Washingtonian, and those that live outside the district that commute in the city have no similarities to commuters in Milwaukee. Perhaps see if the tiny amount left in the budget can cover a clip board, pen, paper, and a lawn chair, and study the actual roads and drivers that have been so intentionally disregarded. Maybe even knock on doors and actually factor in what people have to say about the roads in their own neighborhood!! DDOT and Mayor Bowser should be ashamed, if not seeking new employment. Not a SINGLE thing done correctly, except lining the workers pockets, ohh and majority of those workers.....ARE NOT DC RESIDENTS!!

This organization only cares about the “safety” and convenience of cars and people who drive.

Is insane how much stress put in drivers with this lanes doesn’t make sense . Even with lanes don’t respect the drivers and then the drivers are the ones the suffer also more crazy with those mopes around . They need to focus on something the makes sense

Bike lanes on Columbia Rd are dangerous for traffic and pedestrians.

On Sept. 17th, the driver of the L2 bus on Columbia Road, going north at 5pm, told me that two bus drivers had already had accidents, hitting the new concrete plazas on Columbia Road

I like the fact that I can kill someone with my car and not face any consequences. I like storing my car on the street for free; I hate the idea that society would be better off if the public were allowed to use the car storage space I appropriated. I do not want to pay my fair share for damaging roads, polluting, and taking life. I like being a free-loader. Most importantly, I like knowing that we kill 43,000 Americans per year, a person every 12 minutes, and no one seems to care. I'm very happy to see so many people aligned with my values sign this petition.

It is dangerous. Bikes don't stop at stop signs and just barrel through an intersection like cars at not there. They don't even give pedestrians the right of way.
