I'm half serious. I do my own comics, and that knocks out so much of my time. I've submitted before and heard nothing. So why not?! I have precious little to lose. Seemed like a fun thing to do. Hell! People sent money for a guy to make potato salad, and I believe I am marginally more interesting than Potato Salad. Perhaps dare I say....More interesting than APPLE SAUCE?!?... One can dare dream!

If you are serious about pursuing a career with DC Comics, not only would I suggest not using a public petition to try and validate yourself for the job, I would also suggest being attentive to grammatical errors, keeping the cynical attitude withdrawn, and send your resume and portfolio to DC Comics, so they may review your work and make an educated decision based upon what you submitted. While DC Comics may be declining in business, this is not the advertising point to bring up either. Work for the company because you want to work for them and be serious about your efforts else you fall short and won't progress.
