Hello everyone! This is Dan Nokes from 21st Century Sandshark Studios. You may know me from such creator owned comics as THE PARANORMALS, THE PISTOLEERS, ADAM AND EVE: BIZARRE LOVE TRIANGLE IN THE ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE, IMPOSSIBLE SPACE TALES OF THE LAST PIT STOP, and many others. Ive been creating billion dollar ideas on a shoestring budget for 15 years now. I am a veteran writer, artist, and creator who knows how to put a good story together.
I'm constructing said petition to present to DC Comics that I might be able to aid them in their mission to prop up a sagging comics business.
When I say that "I believe in theffect power of comics." It should be taken as seriously as when Bruce Springsteen says he believes in the power of ROCK N' ROLL. I know I can write yarns of good tales and figure DC Comics has bumpkiss to lose on me.
Look, they said it themselves that the industry is faltering at 2017 SDCC. They stated they want to reinvigorate said industry, and one way they could, is to hire me to write a title or three.
Is this just a sad publicity stunt or desperate pandering for attention by me to get you to read my online and paper comics, as well as rake in some dough for my art skills? Most likely... But I would love a shot to write a DC Book. My resume could use the padding, and I'd love to give my long time fans some validation for all the support and cash they dropped over the years.
So if you are a fan of mine, a fan of the medium of comics, or just up at 3am and have nothing to do. Sign my petition. As I said, I plan to submit it to DC Comics just to see what happens. Should be a fun laugh if nothing else!
