Dalgety Bay Squash & Tennis Club needs your support!
As many of you know, our courts are now 20 years old (very old in tennis years!) and are long overdue to be re-surfaced. Things have come to a head over the last 2 winters with waterlogged and slippery courts regularly making safe play impossible. We are therefore planning to resurface the courts later this year, and are in the process of trying to secure help with funding this project. We would also like to improve our floodlight facility by converting to LED lights and potentially expanding this to all 4 courts, subject to permission.
The tennis courts are a fantastic local all-weather amenity, which are open to everyone, with a comprehensive coaching program available too. We would love to have your support for our plans so that Dalgety Bay can continue to benefit from a fit-for-purpose community facility.

This is an extremely important facility within Dalgety Bay. Our children need this just as much as our adults. Outdoor recreation is always very popular here, with waiting lists on most outdoor pursuits. This upgrade would be gratefully received, and immensely popular.
The club has made amazing progress since the start of 2020 in building a great tennis programme. Refurbishing the courts and upgrading the floodlighting are essential next steps in making it an all year round programme. The Dalgety Bay community will gain a huge benefit from this development.
The tennis courts need all the support snd investment possible. It’s a town of 10,000 with a growing younger snd older population, needing good quality recreational amenities.
I and my family fully support the resurfacing of the tennis courts. It is long overdue and if it wasn’t for the tireless work carried out by the club, the courts at times would be unplayable.
These courts are invaluable to our community, providing a healthy recreation activity. The head coach does a brilliant job of maintaining what we have but the upgrading requirements are becoming essential and outwith his control. Tennis has been a lifeline throughout the Covid pandemic for many families in the tennis community.
My kids are both member and this is A worthy cause
We should be encouraging all sport.
