This is a petition asking executive producer, Ken Corday, to immediately fire and replace current head writer, Dena Higley. Based upon spoilers for the planned Summer of Love, which is not based upon romance or character driven storylines and which in fact destroys the integrity of characters fans of this show have loved for years, we the fans of Days of Our Lives, ask for her immediate replacement. We will not be subjected to her writing which ignores the history of the show, its characters and its most popular couples. We will Tune out the Blackout the week of July 7th. And we will continue to tune out Days of Our Lives, if Dena Higley continues to be the head writer. The fans of this show want stories about romance and adventure for its characters, not meaningless random sex scenes and pairings of characters that have no chemistry and do not belong together. Ken Corday, we the fans of Days of Our Lives, ask you to save the show before it is too late and replace Dena Higley as head writer. Thank you.
