Hi! My name is Dayle, and I’m running for Student Senate for the class of ‘25! I would be a great member of our IWU Student Senate because I have always been highly involved in my community back in Michigan, and I want to be able to make a difference in my new community of Bloomington-Normal as well! I’m passionate about making positive change both on campus and in our surrounding community, and I have experience volunteering with animal rescue organizations, food banks, The Ronald McDonald House, The Humane Society, Best Friends Animal Society, and many more reputable social-welfare organizations. I also currently run my own social-impact initiative on Instagram and Facebook called Bina’s Buddies (@binas.buddies on Instagram and @binasbuddiesorg on Facebook). I also hosted a pet adoption and donation event in June raising over $500 and tables filled with donations for Michele’s Rescue in Grand Rapids, MI.
