I am in a small group licensed childcare. I’m trained and I am a business owner. I’m not at risk nor are my family. I work for essential staff who are not able to skip work. Grandparent care is dangerous. Stay at home care and neighbor care is dangerous as they are untrained.
Let us choose if we want to stay open.

I support licensed daycares staying open during this challenging time, however I do not support any licensed childcare staying open that has has been reported to the state for anything. I also don’t support people that aren’t trained or licensed in this arena to take care of multiple children.

Daycares are the cleanest places ever. My first case of eczema I got from working in a daycare where we washed our hands and the children wash their hands before and after every activity. Everyday desks and toys are cleaned with a bleach and water formula gems don't live in daycares. Some people's homes should be as clean as daycares are.
