iv signed this as i no the jones family personally they are such a loverly family they have been through enough they did not need this to without even a thought for marion or michelle or the rest of davids family it's disgusting surely they should be alliwed to keep the tree and football tribute in davids memory and gou should have mord respect to davids memory and let him rest in peace and allow his loverly family to grieve not put them through what you are putting them through now!!

i think its a disgrace how a lovely memorial for davy set up by his family can not be left alone what harm is it doing nothing ony giving the family comfort so leave it alone and let his family keep their memories

utterly disgusted in what the council have done and especially not telling us family members about it, Davy was a great guy who was loved by many.

How unfair and inconsiderate to Davids Wife and Family not to even be consulted about this so call "Decision" What right has a Councillor, who doesnt even LIVE in the area,to make it without Davids family being aware. He is concerned it is "Distracting" motorists when they pass. Its a memorial to David Jones NOT a distraction!!! Keep yur eyes on the road and out of other peoples pain and sorrow. Many families have memorials near where their family member was killed, it is a true sign of DISRESPECT to ALL of Davids family and friends to not have this place to remember David. Try using your time to be a REAL POLITICIAN and help the people of YOUR BOROUGH, Do not remove this memorial, if it is "distracting" motorists they shouldnt be looking at it!!!! Their eyes should be ON THE ROAD!!!!!

I think my uncles memories should be able to be shown at the place of his death the fact they want it removed is just pure stupid an shows they have no feelings on how my nana and our family feel !!

All this now has just bought everything flooding back I'm extremely upset as to how this has been handled with no feelings for Michelle or myself considered first or contacted to discuss the matter!!

I pass these trees everyday and they serve as a reminder of the people who are no longer a part of our community, they are both sadly missed by their family and friends and also remind us how dangerous that stretch of road can be, after all this time it now seems like they are desecrating their graves its discusting and immoral, leave them be
