This is beyond ridiculous. Would you like everyone who grows nepeta cataria in their gardens to pull it up too? I did not vote for you - very few of us in Scotland did - and everything you do reminds me why. Not satisfied with attacking the weakest, neediest and most vulnerable in society and awarding yourselves immense pay rises, you enact idiotic laws which will do good to nobody...except giving us a good laugh - which is sorely needed in this disunited kingdom which you are in the process of destroying.

Cameron your sick in the head keep cat nip legal, the only thing it does is settler your belly, it's not even like weed if you smoke it, it's only good for tea!, oh and legalise weed so my mother actually gets better not worse from her illness, oh wait.... seriuosly are the guys that make these decissions retarded? it helps my cats chill out and have fun, its catnip and from personal exerience smoking it does nothing, its catnip ffs, dont punish our feline friends just cos you are on a power trip, i didnt vote for you and just on this basis i never would in the future. Get a grip what will you ban next, exercise cos you get a release of endorphins and that makes you feel good? youve already took the stuff out of my childhood favourite sweets the stuff that made them taste good. Catnip not only gives my cats joy but me and other owners joy in watching our happy cats at play. Dont take the little small cost joys away from us, youre in the process of taking everything else, where do you draw the line?

catnip is one of the only ways one of my cats will takes it medication and exercise Seriously next you will be banning all aerosols because people sniff them why not doing something worthwhile and sort out the important issues this country has instead of going for the soft options

Alcohol and cigarettes are still legal, but catnip is banned? I can assure you my cat has never been caught driving under the influence of catnip or started a bar brawl by being catnipped and disorderly. Nor does his secondhand catnip harm others. Perspective and priorities need to enter this argument as they appear to be severely lacking. Might want to ban antihistimines too as they make some users lightheaded. And aspirin! It is known to make people feel better.

I have 3 cats at home and they love catnip . I put in some of there toys. Do don't ban it . If some humans smoke the stuff well more fool them. It's for cats.
