seriously they wouldn't even be able to police this, it's not like it needs dark room and heat lamps to grow, it can just be a wild plant in someone's garden - happy hunting Mr Government!!!

this is ridiculous, you won't ban codiene products which are far more harmful but you'll ban catnip which doesn't harm cats and calms down my neurotic cat

Both my cats enjoy playing with toys that contain catnip and eating fresh catnip or catmint too.
Please put this on the exemption list so that they can keep their enrichment.

It's just stupid to ban catnip. It's really not good to smoke it, but it has many health benefits for humans. Add on top of this that it is a good treat to keep a cat's brain stimulated and it has many other health benefits for our furry friends. Why would you want to ban it, except to piss off your citizens?

This quite possibly one of the stupidest things I have ever heard. Catnip tea was imbibed in Britain long before Chinese tea was available. It's just a type of mint like many other herbs.
