Daves Aquarium Bolton to be boycotted and closed down

I’ve kept my name Anon due to I worked for this vile vile man for 6 years in another shop he OWNED WE RAN IT BEST WE COULD EVEN THE LICENSE WAS IN OUR NAMES and have a lot of info on him as I ran a store of his (I did my best with the resources he give me) I backed every thing up on a computer that was mine and now have in my personal collection i would be willing to pass this all on to right authority if it is needed there’s load inc proof of tax evasion with his employees and more

Shut it , save the meerkat

No self respecting aquarist buys any form of livestock from this disgusting place. I at a loss as to why the RSPCA are not involved as the animal cruelty enforcement organisation. They seem happy enough to go after borderline individuals but ignore this place. Why the still have a pet shop licence is beyond me.

Absolutely disgusting place to visit. Tanks are dirty and fish look ill. The reptile section at the back is even worse as soon as you walk in the smell hits you like a ton of bricks. The cages are filthy. The roof is leaking. Floor uneven and dangerous. Everything is just dusty and filthy. And to top it off, the poor meerkat on its own in the front of the shop when you walk in, they should not be alone, they're pack animals. Absolute cruelty this place and needs to be shut down or completely refurbished with new ownership. Absolute disgrace and cannot believe it's still going. Why aren't Bolton council doing anything?

My daughter came back from Davies today and was deeply upset by this filthy place and conditions animals were kept in. Why are the RSPCA not checking ?

My grandaughter told me about this horrible place after a recent visit. I hope it gets shut down as soon as possible

The tanks were leaking and had plastic floating around and rust everywhere non of the tanks where big enough for the amount of fish or the size of some of the fish

When I went the tanks has mould growing everywhere there was dead fish, frogs and crabs floating in the tanks, it smelt awful and was very disorganised and messy. The rabbits, Guinea pigs and hamsters didn’t have enough bedding or food and there was poo everywhere a lot of the animals looked sick and there was many birds cramped In one cage with no room at all. Absolutely awful left the place so upset and in complete shock

Lovely day today thought I would take a trip with my young one to the pet shop and let me tell you this ...... today is the only day I have been thankful for my face mask the smell is diabolical i felt like I walked into a horror movie.... the place is rotten the smell was making me wrench and tanks leaking poor animals living in those conditions not to mention the hillibilli staff , me and my little one left in a hurry thats for sure Bolton need to save those animals and maybe put the staff in the mouldy tanks and squish them into cages see how they like it

I have lost 5 tropical fish in over 2 weeks plus a parrot that died.animals and fish are kept in disgusting conditions.the parrots are pulling out their feathers,it is so very sad.it needs to be shut down permanently!

Bought fish and crabs from here, all died within 2 weeks of having them Awful place needs closing for good! It's grubby, the animals are in horrible conditions in the enclosures and they have exotic animals that should be in the wild not in a run down crappy pet store like this
