While daddy, the primary caregiver slept, (later to learn he had been drugged), mother absconded child over 2.5 hours away, never to be returned, or contacted in any way, for 68 days. Mother finally contacted paternal grandmother, only to hear, "Peez, Maamaw, uppie, one minute?", "Dedee? Dedee?!, Dedee?!!"

Anyone willing to commit a crime with an infant or toddler, can't possibly be suitable to insure a toddlers safety, or consistently provide the proper care or love necessary. We put our children first, they aren't possessions or bargaining chips.
