Simply put, Darby O'Gill and the Little People is a classic Disney movie, which still has a fan base today. Given the advances in technology, this petition asks Disney to produce a new version, be it a remake or sequel, with Sean Connery as Darby (if a remake) or as that character (if a sequel.)

Great minds think alike. I would love to see a remake with Sean Connery as Darby O'gill. I saw the movie in 1959 when it was released. Never forgot it and I bought the DVD and watch it at leisure. Good luck with this petition.

I would very much love to see Sean Connery in the remake as Darby O'Gill, Johnny Depp as Michael MacBride, and Anne Hathaway as Katie O'Gill.
I may have been born in 1977, but I still loved this movie as a child, and to this day. A Remake or Sequel with Connery as the lead would be amazing!

Just watched it and was wondering why they haven't done this already. Would love it if they stick as close to the story as possible and find actors that look like the originals and just give us much better special effects.
