On June 12, 2010, Fort Wayne Community Schools held their open house to let people say goodbye to Elmhurst High School. A lot of people turned out for the event. One of them being 1995 Elmhurst Gradaute Daniel J. Westrick. Daniel Westrick attended Elmhurst and was remember as one of it's greatest students ever. He made a vow that he would return to Elmhurst as a very successful person with a girl beside. At the time of the open house he was dating his future wife Amanda Tennant and with a great job at Centennial Wireless/AT&T, he decide that this day that he would fulfill his dream.

BUt that dream was shattered at 2:15pm on that day when they ran into his sister Carolyn Westrick (Who did not attend Elmhurst nor graduated from any high school in Fort Wayne) yelled at Miss Tennant, threaten to injury her. Out of her safety, Daniel Westrick and Amanda Tennant left Elmhurst, very upset and dream unfulfilled.  IN the process CArolyn Westrick not only deprived him of his dream, but deprived his friends, former teachers and officials from meeting her.

And on December 22, 2010, Daniel Westrick went back to Elmhurst but not in happiness, but to end his life all because of what Carolyn, along with Jean Westrick and Patrica Westrick Coss has done to this great man.

Therefore, we the undersign petition the FWCS School Board of Trustees along with Dr. Wendy Robinson to allow Daniel Westrick to be let into Elmhurst High School one more time to give a tour of the school to his wife.
