The fear that grips you when you turn right out of LR onto BNR when there are wall-to-wall vans blocking any and all view of traffic approaching is hard to describe - you have to experience it to understand - I myself have had several scary near misses as a result of this obstruction of sight and speeding ongoing vehicles. The man who’s company owns the offending vans will have blood on his hands if someone’s life is lost due to this problem, but technically he isn’t doing anything wrong as there are no double yellow lines painted where they park. This is why council action is urgently needed.

Every day when leaving Lakeside Rise I wonder if today will be the day I get into an accident. If any cars are parked on the right near the bus stop, there simply is no way of seeing whether anything is coming before pulling out. And because the entrance to Lakeside is concealed, drivers don't know to slow down or be cautious in case a car pulls out. Something absolutely has to be done, whether it's extending the double yellow lines to the bus stop or installing a traffic mirror. Otherwise someone WILL lose their LIFE!

We have to pull out blind due to vans being parked absolutely frightening!!
