Woodcote Road Junction with Foxley Lane (Purley/Wallington, Surrey)
I have set up this petition to raise awareness to the Council. Over 500 collisions which has been reported alone from 5 years to end of July 2015. This is not including so many more near misses.
I have gone past this roundabout many times and saw broken curbstone sticking out, uneven road surfaces, broken signs and car parts scatted in the road.
The location of the roundabout has four entrances plus one from the garden centre due to the size of the roundabout and being a busy roundabout this causes chaos and a very dangerous approach.
I am using the power of social media to contact the community to put an urgent request to local authorities as this roundabout is unsafe and needs attention.

I have been reading through your reports of recent near misses at the junction and the stories you share are honestly heartbreaking. It is clear that I am not the only one who feels unsafe driving through this area. Your willingness to speak up is the only reason this issue is even being looked at by anyone.

I am truly overwhelmed by the momentum behind this because it was never my intention to lead something that grew so quickly beyond my own reach. This movement belongs to all of you who saw the danger at this junction and decided it was time for a change. Your commitment is the only reason people are finally starting to pay attention.

should be traffic lights at this round about just a matter of time before some one is injured badly
I agree 100 percent with the victim of the collision on this badly designed roundabout. I have encountered it myself and feel it is definitely a dangerous roundabout. You cannot see the drivers emerging from left and right until the last minute which leads to collisions!

I pass this roundabout nearly few times a week and each time seen near miss accident and car parts all over the place. Need proper traffic light to control the safe traffic urgently.
