Dance is an amazing offering to be giving our students! I can't imagine why we don't! It was even offered way back when I was in HS!

I really like dancing, so I think it would be a good idea :)

Sounds like a good idea, it would definitely encourage more physical activity from those who would rather not participate in PE sports/activities.

The high school I attended had such a program. I was grateful they did as I was not very athletic and this offered an alternative to standard gym class.

This seems like it will be really fun, rather than PE torture

Dance Education in district 158

My daughters love dance. It has given them confidence and brought out their spirit. Plus it is a great form of excersise!

With all of the hours my daughter dances its hard work. It would be great if there was a way to also get school credit also.

You have a top rate employee with the passion, talent, dedication, and education to make this happen. This is a perfect way to continue to offer the arts and still encourage health and wellness. There have been many success stories of schools that have invested in this program! A prime example is Sycamore,IL.
