Even though the petition is closed, I'd like to add my comments. Dan Reeves has been a hero to me since the sixties. Growing up in Texas, most of us idolized the Cowboys and Dan was one of the best. I haven't seen any comments about him being a player AND a coach for Tom Landry at the same time. Player/coaches were rare, even back then, and, to me, that made him a player who was a standout among other players. Thank you, Coach Reeves, for all of your contributions to the Cowboys, Broncos, Giants and Falcons. Your courage is unquestionable, your talent incredible, and your loyalty to God and your family admirable. I hope to see your bust in Canton soon!
